About Weather Out Flashing
My name is Ross Allen and thanks for visiting our Weather Out Flashing. I studied Mechanical Engineering at Vanderbilt University and then began a carreer in construction; first industrial and then residential. I have owned my own business for almost 20 years and continue to realize that you are only as good as the people who work for you, and that if you are going to succeed in this business you had better be able to stand behind your product.
With this in mind, I spent years trying to train my subs to understand water flow and to properly seal off the building envelope from water thus maintaining a green environment inside. With the current labor force, I found there to be a wide range of skill levels. If I was not on site to supervise, I was left vulnerable to potential costly repairs and damage to my reputation. I set out to design specialty flashings that substantially reduced the skill levels needed. Our goal was to eliminate the need for precision cutting and assymbly, and did not want to depend on glues and caulks.
Water needs to be controlled and not left to seek its our way into your home. You will find that our products have unique tapered drain channels that keep water flowing to the outside, a simple yet effective design that keeps the Weather Out.
